Rhinox Excavator Pallet Forks: Turn Your Excavator Into a Material Handler

If you have ever watched a crew wait on a telehandler that cannot get across a soft, rutted site, you already know the problem. Materials arrive on pallets, but the ground will not let a forklift move them. Rhinox excavator pallet forks solve that by putting the forks on the machine that is already there: your excavator.

An excavator goes where a telehandler or forklift struggles, including boggy, uneven and tracked-up ground. With a set of forks on the end of the arm, the same machine that digs the trench can also unload the delivery truck and place pallets of block, pavers, pipe or bagged material right where the crew needs them.

That means fewer machines on site and no extra rental for a job that only needs a few hours of pallet handling. Excavator pallet forks are growing in popularity with contractors and rental yards for exactly that reason.

Rhinox builds these forks for harsh sites, and a few design choices stand out.

  • Floating forks. The tines pivot with gravity, so sliding under a pallet takes less fiddling and less time in the cab.
  • Built-in stand. The attachment sits upright when it is set down, so it does not rock back while you are picking it up.
  • Multi-pin pick-up. Interchangeable pin sizes let one set fit a range of excavators, and unused pins store right on the attachment.
  • Declaration of conformity. Every set ships with documentation certifying it was built to the correct regulations and safety checked.
  • Dedicated pick-ups. For machines that use them, Rhinox offers Bobcat X-Change, Kubota Quick Attach and Deere Wedgelock options.

Rhinox sizes its excavator forks by machine weight class, and the pin sizes follow the class.

Excavator SizePin Setup
4 tonFixed pins, 38 or 40 mm
5-9 ton45, 50 and 60 mm pins
12-25 ton65 and 80 mm pins

The range covers models from Bobcat, CAT, Case, Deere, Develon, Doosan, Hitachi, Hyundai, JCB, Kobelco, Komatsu, Kubota, Link-Belt, Yanmar and others. Search by your exact model to find the matching set.

  1. Your coupler. Rhinox pallet forks for the US market are designed to fit the US model of the Kubota Quick Attach coupler. If you are not sure yours matches, ask before you order.
  2. Direct mounting. Forks with the multi-pin pick-up are not designed to mount directly to the excavator. They go on through your coupler or a compatible pick-up, and you will need to mount the tines to the carriage.
